Insurance Verification Standards

Minimum requirements

• Active general or business liability policy in the name of the mechanic or their business.
• Recommended minimum coverage of $300,000 per occurrence.
• Criminal background check completed within the last 12 months.
• Valid Texas driver's license and service vehicle registration.

How we verify

We review the uploaded certificate of insurance, confirm effective dates, and where possible validate the policy with the issuing carrier. Verified badges expire automatically when the policy lapses.

Limits of verification

Verification confirms documents at the time of review. It is not a warranty of the mechanic's work or a guarantee issued by the platform.
